About the role
As a Recruiter at Thatch you’ll collaborate with the strong foundation we have today to continue to build our exceptional team for tomorrow, and help establish best practices in hiring at Thatch. You will work closely with hiring managers to identify needs, scope roles and draft job descriptions, source and screen candidates, and build and execute against hiring plans. You’ll also be at the front line of finding diverse candidates who will help advance our mission and align with our operating principles.
You will be Thatch’s first in-house recruiter and a foundational member of the People team. You should have well-informed opinions about recruiting processes and be capable enough to build and manage them.
What you'll do
- Partner with senior leadership to scope roles and execute against hiring plans for technical and non-technical roles
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies through a variety of channels for both passive and active candidates
- Manage recruitment lifecycle from candidate engagement to onboarding through the lens of promoting Thatch’s brand and operating principles
- Provide excellent candidate experiences through clear, timely communication
- Manage our applicant tracking system and drive better interview processes
Background we're looking for
- 8+ years experience in full lifecycle recruiting or related talent or people functions (such as people operations) with a preference for technical recruiting
- Track record of placing top talent and building high-functioning teams
- Data-driven and ability to provide quantitative and qualitative reporting to hiring managers and senior leaders
- Project management mindset: meticulously organized and have a knack of simplifying and driving processes
- Ambitious and work well independently
- Good sense of humor
Experience we’d be particularly excited about
- Helped develop early talent programs in startups and have a strong drive to build the program correctly from the start
- Highly adaptable, creative, enjoy learning new things quickly
- Experience developing and presenting diverse and inclusive candidate slates for hiring managers
- Familiarity with working in and configuring Greenhouse

We aim to have the interview process completed in about 2 weeks after we have completed screens for candidates.
